Identity 2.0 & Personal Digital Archives

I spoke with Peter Van Garderen, a PhD student with the University of Amsterdam, at the recent Web 2.0 User Group meeting regarding SXIP and the interesting applications it will have for his personal digital archive work. His blog discusses the value of SXIP's goals, particularly, our aim to "put the control over the user's online identity and personas in the hands of the individual" and more importantly from his perspective as a digital archivist "the option to store and control this information where I like".
