16 August, 2005 - 8:21am

Sxip has acquired top talent from across North America and Europe to accommodate its Vancouver expansion and new office in San Francisco. In addition to new recruits for development, the senior management team welcomes Chuck Mortimore, Vice President of Product Architecture and Alfie Karmal, Vice President of Sales. Their immediate focus will be on further development, sales and marketing of Sxip Access, the only identity management solution designed specifically for on-demand applications.

The markets for Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions and for on-demand web applications are predicted to continue to climb within the next several years. Analyst research firm, International Data Corp. (IDC), projects worldwide revenue for the IAM software market to reach $3.4 billion in 2008, representing a compound annual growth rate of 9.7%. They also estimate that ASP sales will grow by at least 26 percent annually from $2.1 billion in 2002 to $10.7 billion by 2009. Sxip is capitalizing on these fast growing markets, with its recently released IAM solution for ASPs, Sxip Access.
