Podcast on Identity 2.0 with IT Conversations

29 November, 2005 - 12:22pm

An audio version of our founder and CEO, Dick Hardt's, renowned Identity 2.0 talk from the O'Reilly Open Source Conference was recently posted on IT Conversations. The presentation continues to generate a lot of interest in the blogosphere, with approximately 450 links on bloglines to our Identity 2.0 video.

Garr Reynolds of Presentation Zen states it's "excellent". A sampling of other recent interesting posts:

  • David Gray of Communication Nation, writes that Dick "completely captivates his audience with great visuals, great storytelling, and great timing...like a kind of corporate hip-hop."
  • Elizabeth Lane Lawley, Associate Professor, Rochester Institute of Technology, describes it as a "brilliant presentation on identity".
  • Cliff Attkinson of Beyond Bullets, notes that it's "very creative, visually interesting, and makes great use of visual humor."

We've had tons of inquiries about the presentation. Yes, it's over 300 slides! It was done in Keynote on a Mac. The font is American Typewriter. Last summer at OSCON, Dick used his laptop keyboard to forward rapidly through the slidedeck. He now uses a remote mouse plugin on his Treo.
