Sun joins OpenID user-centric community
7 May, 2007 - 2:21pm
We're delighted to see Sun announce they intend to support OpenID. After being a proponent of old school federated identity technologies for so long, it's good for the user-centric community that another large player in the identity space has declared support for this emerging Identity 2.0 protocol. Earlier this spring Sxip announced we would collaborate with Microsoft and others in the community on interoperability between OpenID and Windows CardSpace to make the internet safer and easier to use. We hope all of our combined efforts further industry convergence to one simple identity protocol.
