We really are the Best Place on Earth! Vancouver was chosen for the fifth straight year in a row as the most livable city on the planet by the Economist. Their annual survey assesses living conditions in more than 125 cities around the world based on the following categories: stability; healthcare; culture and environment; education; and infrastructure. Vancouver was deemed the most attractive destination due to our low crime rate, little threat from instability or terrorism and a highly developed transport and communications infrastructure.
